The Marian Senior Centre at Lavalla Catholic College’s St Paul’s Campus is a key component of a broader Masterplan by Y2 Architecture, delivering a contemporary, double-storey learning environment tailored for senior students. Replacing outdated facilities, the new centre establishes a strong academic and social heart for the campus, aligned with the College’s vision for active, student-centred learning.
Developed in close collaboration with staff and leadership, the design supports senior students through flexible, future-focused spaces that promote independence, collaboration, and wellbeing.
The library within the Marian Learning Centre at Lavalla Catholic College’s St Paul’s Campus is conceived as a central, multi-functional learning hub that extends beyond a traditional library model. Integrated within a new 15-classroom facility, the space supports a broad range of learning modalities through a combination of soft and hard reading areas, open study zones, and adaptable book shelving, alongside dedicated collection storage.
